- CFTC
- Daily Workforce Messaging: CFTC will engage its workforce with daily messages focused on privacy awareness, emphasizing the importance of protecting personal data in financial market operations.
- Internal Privacy Event: A planned internal event will bring together CFTC staff to delve into privacy-related topics, featuring expert speakers and discussions to enhance privacy practices across the agency.
- DoD
- DoD Privacy Summit: This cornerstone event will bring together privacy leaders to share insights and strategies for safeguarding sensitive information.
- FDIC
- Internal Privacy Event: FDIC is hosting a privacy-focused event that will educate staff on the significance of data privacy within financial systems, featuring interactive sessions and best practices for compliance and risk mitigation.
- USAID
- Internal Privacy Event: USAID is hosting a comprehensive internal event that will spotlight the importance of privacy in global development, offering interactive discussions and expert-led presentations.
- Social Media Campaign: USAID will amplify privacy awareness by sharing tailored, privacy-themed content across its social media channels throughout Data Privacy Week.
- Posters and Agency Notice: Privacy-themed posters will be displayed across USAID buildings, complemented by an agency-wide notice to launch Data Privacy Week and outline planned activities.
- SAOP Video Message: A personal video from the Senior Agency Official for Privacy will highlight the week's importance and inspire participation across the agency.
- Virtual Event with Guest Speakers: USAID will host an engaging virtual event featuring both internal and external speakers to emphasize global privacy trends.
- DOJ
- AI Governance Event: The DOJ Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties will provide a one-hour, entirely virtual discussion on January 28 at 1:00 PM. This discussion, “Sustaining AI Governance through a Changing Policy Landscape,” is open to any DOJ personnel with an interest in attending. Over the course of the hour, OPCL and critical partners from within the Department will share plans to continue privacy and civil liberties protections in the Department’s use of AI and AI-driven technologies.
